1. Install the HiSoftware TagGen Server

2. Launch the HiSoftware TagGen Server

3. Click On the New Button Icon in the Tool Bar

4. Create a New Group Name and Basic Metadata for the Group and Set it to be Super (Inheritance Overview)

5. Add a Resource (A Machine, Folder, or Drive)

6. Specify the Metadata and Policy for the Resource

7. Repeat Steps 5 and 6 as Required

8. Save the Definition

9. Schedule The Group Run Policy, Daily, Weekly or Monthly

10. At the Scheduled Time metadata will be added to all documents in the resource or you can click on Run to run the server for the resource immediately.

When the server is configured, your organization can benefit immediately from metadata management and policy. Whenever a document is added to the resource, it will have the specified metadata, thus 100% metadata compliance!
