Reporting

The features described in this section pertain to the reporting features of our solutions. With helpful reporting, users can determine that Web files are fully accessible or comply with specific web site quality factors, such as: Privacy, Searchability, Alt Text Quality or Custom Test Suites. In addition, accessibility reporting should identify Web elements that fail accessibility testing. Enhanced accessibility reports provide users with graphical representations of results, as well as the ability for users to create custom ad-hoc reports on demand to obtain specific information. File Type Link Report
The File Type Link Report is a report that includes a list of all non-Web files that are linked to a project. An example of a non-Web file that might be linked to a Web project is a PDF file

Link Phrase Report
The Generate Link Phrase report shows a listing of pages where hyperlinks containing the phrase Click Here or other user-defined entry were found. When a screen reader views your web pages, it is common for the screen reader to list all the hyperlinks on the page. If several links are all reported as Click Here, then it is much harder for the end user using assistive technology to discern the page.

Data Table Link Report
AccMonitor and AccVerify can programmatically determine tables that are used for layout based upon the Table Verification Settings available from the Settings menu and comment tags placed by the AccRepair table utility. If a table is not a layout table based upon this Table Verification Settings, or by specific comment tags added with the AccRepair plug-in, then the table is listed as a data table. Data tables need to meet certain accessibility criteria as outlined in W3C WCAG Priority 1 rules 5.1 and 5.2 and Section 508 Rules G and H. This report gives a listing of all tables which are potentially data tables that are found on the site. The end user is the final judge as to whether the table is used to present data (as in tabular format) or whether the table is used for design.

Link Error Report
While crawling a site, AccVerify can report on HTTP errors it finds, such as File Not Found. This report will assist you in locating these errors in your web content so these errors can be corrected. Note:

Site Quality, Max File Size Link Report/Slow Loading Pages
By default, AccVerify and AccMonitor will skip verification of files greater than 100 KB. This report gives a listing of all files that were skipped for verification due to size limitations. This feature is designed to save the end user time. Files over the 100 KB size can be modified by selecting Maximum File Size from the Settings menu and modifying the value. This report gives a listing of all files that were skipped for verification.

Site Quality, Repetitive Anchor Text Link Report
This report shows files with one or more repeating anchor texts pointing to different resources. For example you may have two links on you page that say, "More Information". If each one points to a different page or resource, then you should correct the links to make them point to the same resource, or change the text of the hyperlink.
