Web Site Quality - Deprecated Elements and Attributes
The World Wide Web Consortium (www.w3c.org) has provided a list of HTML elements and attributes that are considered deprecated.  The W3C recommends that these elements and attributes not be used, mostly because they force styles and design upon a user instead of using style sheets that allow a user to override the default style.  Users interested in passing the W3C WCAG 1.0 checkpoint 11.2 guideline need to pass this custom check.

The HiSoftware Potential Screen Movement and Flickering Report
The HiSoftware Potential Screen Movement and Flickering Report reports on a number of design elements that may cause a page to flicker or blink at the user. Blinking and flickering items on pages can cause seizures in users with photosensitive epilepsy. The Section 508 1194.22 standards Checkpoint J states to avoid flickering between 2 and 55 flashes per second. The WCAG 1.0 Guidelines Checkpoint 7.1 states to avoid flickering between 4 and 59 flashes per second with a peak sensitivity of 20 flashes per second. This version includes a test to locate animated gif images on your pages.

The HiSoftware Government of Canada - CLF Test Suite
This test Suite will provide testing of Web sites for compliance with Government of Canada (GoC) Common Look and Feel (CLF) Standards, including accessibility requirements as designated in the W3C web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG – Priority 1 & 2).
