California State University - Northridge latest to embrace industry leading AccMonitor solution

Concord, NH – March 20, 2006 – HiSoftware, a leading provider of software, services and managed operation solutions that audit, monitor and optimize Web content, quality and regulatory compliance, will be a lead sponsor and presenter at the upcoming CATS conference in Monterey, CA between March 20 – 22, 2006. Dana Simberkoff, Vice President of Business Development will be presenting “Educational Accessibility - AccMonitor for Education”. The presentation will feature a case study analysis of several California State Universities (CSU) using HiSoftware solutions including, CSU-San Bernardino, CSU-Bakersfield, CSU-San Marcos and CSU-Northridge.

“We are extremely pleased to be supported by HiSoftware during the upcoming CATS conference through their Diamond Sponsorship,” states Joan Canfield, Director of E-Learning Services at CSU-Bakersfield and one of the CATS Conference Planners. “As a user of HiSoftware, CSU-B could not have possibly managed the amount of labor required to check and repair the pages of our over 200+ departmental web sites. AccMonitor provides with the technical assurance that meets our stringent accessibility and compliance demands.”

The Community of Academic Technology Staff (CATS) Conferences focuses on the major themes, issues, topics, and technological and educational advances influencing the direction of academic technology. Conference goals include providing useful information and training about current and emerging technologies, and sharing strategies to support faculty use of technology.

“It’s important for us to interact and get feedback from our valued user community,” said HiSoftware president and CEO Kurt A. Mueffelmann. “With almost a dozen CSU campuses currently HiSoftware users, the CATS conference will give us an opportunity to listen and receive feedback to the on-going requirements of our most important asset – our customers.”

CSU-Northridge is the latest campus to select HiSoftware. “We've made the HiSoftware suite of tools part of our accessibility framework along with the full-scale deployment of Adobe Studio 8 and campus wide accessibility training,” states Joseph Karr O'Connor – CSU-N Manager University Web Communications. “The HiSoftware solution will allow us to create an accessible Web template system that we hope is adopted by departments and colleges to make it easier to create accessible content.”
