Names New CEO and Closes New Round of
Funding

to Expand
Upon Company’s Industry Leading Web

Concord, NH – December 1, 2005 –
HiSoftware, a leading provider of
software, services and managed
operation solutions that optimize web
content, quality and regulatory
compliance announced that it has
recently closed its latest round of
funding led by Belmont Capital
Partners LLC and Westwood Technology
Ventures. Additionally, the HiSoftware
Board of Directors announced the
appointment of software and technology
veteran, Kurt A. Mueffelmann, as the
company’s new President and Chief
Executive Officer. He will succeed
founder Robert Yonaitis, who will
become the company’s Chief Technology
Officer and Vice President of
Development. A Managing Partner of
Westwood Technology Ventures,
Mueffelmann will also serve as a
member of the HiSoftware Board of
Directors.

Prior to joining HiSoftware,
Mueffelmann was Vice President and
General Manager of Bottomline
Technologies (NASDAQ: EPAY),
responsible for running the Financial
Process Management and Document Output
Solutions lines of business. He has
also served as President and Chief
Executive Officer of Create!form
International, Inc, acquired by
Bottomline in September 2003, and
RealWorld Corporation, which was
acquired by Great Plains in January of
2000.
